Things that make the staff smile #2

August 25, 2010

“My Beloved Herzing University”

My University is the grandest of them all

I never get discouraged because my instructors are on call

No matter what the problem at hand

They handle it with grace and never wan

Through thick and thin, the values that we learned are instilled from pen to pen

Whether it’s Critical Thinking or APA Format, our scholarly encounters reverberates one’s plait

Reflections of our happiness is seen as adventures, matched only by our achievements and honorable mentions

Graduation Day belongs to us, our pleasure and pride

Looking so proud, diploma in hand, flowing stride

The most beautiful moments suspended in time, overflowing joys of innocence the dream of a lifetime

TO MY BELOVED HERZING UNIVERSITY, GREAT ALUMNI, GRADUATION CAPS OFF TO YOU AND I MIGHT IMPLY

It’s a challenge  and journey to get a degree, but with your guidance , I want you to know, it’s a breeze

A poem written by a Herzing graduate and read at a graduation ceremony in New Orleans.
