The Herzing Default Destroyers, Helping Herzing Students and Grads Navigate the Financial Aid Waters

June 23, 2010

Attention Herzing Students and Graduates – a FREE service from Herzing University!  Our Borrower Support Specialists, aka The Default Destroyers, help federal student loan recipients successfully navigate the process of repaying their student loans.  We work to:

  • Remind you when your loan is going into repayment after you leave school.
  • Assist you in setting up the best payment plan for your situation.
  • Secure options for lowering/postponing payments if you are unable to make them.
  • Provide information on the new management & communication processes for transferred loans.
  • Answer any questions you may have about student loan repayment.

Keeping the communication lines open between you and our Borrower Support Services Default Destroyers will help you to reap the following benefits:

  • Save money by avoiding late fees, collection costs and higher interest rates.
  • Preserve your federal student financial aid eligibility.
  • Maintain your credit history.
  • Facilitate the Loan Consolidation process.
  • Advocate for you when dealing with your lenders and service providers.

Did you know that many current federal student loans are being moved to new servicing departments with different processes, contacts and payment information?  Visit http://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds_SA/ to view your student loan details and make sure you don’t accidentally lose track of your student loans. Let us and your lender know when your contact information changes so we can provide you with the best service possible!
