Cindy

Cindy Reindl joined the Herzing University Financial Aid team in 2006 and now serves as a Financial Aid Team Leader.  She brings a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh to her list of experiences.  Cindy’s professional background is focused on customer service and she puts these skills to use each day as she assists Herzing students through the financial aid process.  Her long term focus is to continue her education and grow as a professional in the field of Financial Aid.

As a lifelong learner, Cindy stays busy outside of work with her many hobbies including reading (she is an avid Harry Potter fan), swimming, traveling, biking and watching the Discovery and History Channels.  She is a member of the Junior League of Milwaukee which affords her the opportunity to volunteer for a number of agencies in Milwaukee including the Blood Center of Wisconsin, Gilda’s Club, and Kids Matter.

A bit more about Cindy

Cindy’s favorite quote: “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”

– Eleanor Roosevelt

The best part of Cindy’s job: “What I love the most about my job is working with our students.  Each day I come into work expecting to learn something new and I always do.  My thirst for knowledge and new experience is never quite satisfied and drives me to try harder.”

Words of wisdom from Cindy: Cindy shares this piece of wisdom shared with her by a professor when she was in college, “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.   You are able to say to yourself, ‘I have lived through this horror.  I can take the next thing that comes along.’ You must do the thing you think you cannot do.’”

– Eleanor Roosevelt
